Prof is a Global Talent Chair in Mathematics at University of Strathclyde has over 30 years working on modelling of plant pest and disease systems at the interface of epidemiology, socio-economics and policy, with 52 papers (h-index 20 GS) and funding from
BBSRC. NSF, RESAS and BSPP (including modelling blackleg). He is a member of the BBSRC Plant Bacterial Pathogens Strategic Advisory Group.
