Prof Ari Sadanandom Director of the Durham Crop Centre has pioneered the area of posttranslational modification in plant adaptive responses, including root-rhizosphere interactions and immunity. In 15 years he has authored 60 peer-reviewed publications including in Science, Nature, PNAS and Plant Cell, with an h-index of 25 (GS). His recent grant income is from BBSRC, NERC, ERC and BASF.
